- consolidate payments to remove the burden from Phoenix Tumaini
- convert the funds so the children’s home will receive more of your money than if the currency conversion was done by a Kenyan bank
- provide the accounting, audit trail, and other governance to the Phoenix Tumaini board.

UK Donors
Phoenix Tumaini donor and volunteer extraordinaire Tracey Farleigh follows the same procedures outlined above for our US donors; she:

- once consolidated, converts the funds to Kenyan shillings before making the bank transfer, so the children’s home will receive much more of your money than if the currency conversion was done by a Kenyan bank
- provides the accounting, audit trail, and other governance to the Phoenix Tumaini board.
